Much like the point I'm trying to get across, this article will be short and simple.
-K.I.S.S. is an acronym for "Keep it simple, stupid" as a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960. The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore simplicity should be a key goal in design and unnecessary complexity should be avoided.
-Most people are visual or auditory learners. This means that you learn best by SEEING movements/techniques or you need to HEAR the steps/process to process it. As a coach if you can't simplify so that anyone even a little kid can understand what to do then you FAIL as a coach and your client.
The point is, make sure that whether you're a coach or trying to be helpful to another gym member if YOU can't explain it to a 5 year old then you don't understand it enough to explain it to an adult. (Not everyone can be a coach or trainer)
